OUR STORY

Built by the community,
for the community.

The Romanian Board of Trade Toronto was founded in 2024 by a group of Romanian-Canadian entrepreneurs and professionals who recognized a gap: no formal organization existed to champion the interests of Romania's growing diaspora in Canada's business landscape.

What began as informal networking dinners has grown into the most influential Romanian-Canadian business organization in North America — hosting flagship events like the Business Excellence Awards, facilitating bilateral trade missions, and connecting hundreds of members with opportunity.

In 2024, RBTT signed a landmark bilateral agreement with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Romania (CCIR), formalizing ties between the two countries' business communities and opening new pathways for trade and investment.

Today, RBTT serves professionals across finance, real estate, property management, legal services, construction, technology and beyond — with a sharp focus on the Greater Toronto Area and a growing national presence.
